Last week, December 7-12 was Safe Teen Driving week in Connecticut. Governor M. Jodi Rell announced the weeklong observance in order to spread the word about safe teen driving.
According to the Wilton Bulletin, during the week many different state and local agencies participated to “spotlight efforts of parents and teens to review their safety discussions and practices.”

The Teens in the Driver Seat program may have gotten its start in Texas, but one of the best examples of TDS is almost 2,000 miles away from where everything began. The high school teams from Bristol Eastern and Bristol Central have been setting great examples since they started in the fall of 2008.
