Lakeview Centennial received over 700 signatures on their PROM promise banner. Students pledged to drive safe following Lakeview Centennial's prom in May 2010. The effort was led by Lakeview Centennial high school student and Garland Youth Council participant Katie Bosler.

Prom is one of the most memorable nights of a teenager's life, but it can also be the deadliest! Check out the signs Garland TDS teens made to remind their peers to stay safe during prom. Every student attending prom received a TDS key chain courtesy of Garland ISD and the TDS teen coalition.

Students from the seven high schools in Garland, Texas gathered for an October press conference to announce their second year of promoting TDS. Many of the students are also members of Garland's Youth Council. The council is making TDS a vitally important agenda topic for the 2007-2008 school year.
Creative and colorful! Garland HS students created a half-page ad to promote TDS in their high school football program.
Across America, car crashes kill more teenagers than any other cause. The Garland Youth Council and teams from Garland ISD high schools are stepping forward to fight this national epidemic at the local level.
