Reading while driving
I was driving home from school yesterday, and as I was stuck in traffic, I looked over and saw this stupid girl reading a book while driving. She literally had the book on the steering wheel, while driving. At one point she put down the book so she could text. ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME? I mean, I understand that you get bored when you’re stuck in traffic, and that we are moving 1 mph. BUT COME ON, YOU’RE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, IN A CAR, LADY!!!!! I was just hoping for her to bump into the car in front of her, and then I could have laughed.
A few weeks ago I saw a lady completely unfocused on the road, texting while driving. Fortunately, she didn’t have anyone in front of her and managed to make a safe stop on a red light (without looking). Clever. Interesting. Not right. Not safe.
That’s pretty dumb.
Although, at least she wasn’t texting while riding a MOTORCYCLE.
