Are gas prices breaking your bank?
Ok, is it me or are gas prices going up again? I work for minimum wage and my job is about fifteen minutes away from my house. I only work part-time because I go to school too, which is about 20 minutes away from my house. I feel like I spend most of my paycheck on gas. I looked up some tips on how to make my gas last longer and I thought I would share them with you.
These are the ones I do the most. I noticed a difference, it wasn’t huge but anything helps. All ten that are listed in the article will help you save gas.
1. Don’t speed. Fuel economy decreases when you drive faster. So drive the speed limit and you will save on your gas.
2. Try not to speed and brake constantly. Driving at a steady pace keeps shifting gears to a minimum which uses less gas.
3. Always check to make sure your tires are in good condition and inflated. You can buy a tire pressure gauge at an auto store they are super cheap. Use the tire pressure that is recommended by the car manufacturer.
