TDS part of the District VI Fall Convention

On October 12, Midway High School in Waco, Texas, hosted the 2009 District VI Fall Convention for Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC). Teens in the Driver Seat representatives attended the event and presented the TDS program to 200 TASC students.

Students had a chance to learn about activities they could bring back to their high school’s student council program (one of them being TDS). The round table discussion groups were 10 minutes long and students rotated five times.

The TDS program is a TASC endorsed project.

District officer schools that were at the Fall Convention were University High School, Midway High School, Groesbeck High School, Ellison High School, Killeen High School, Corsicana High School, Teague High School and Moody High School.
